Depending on which direction you are travelling from, there are 2 direct routes for reaching the Western Highway to WARRENMANG VINEYARD RESORT.
- From Westgate Bridge turnoff at the Western Ring Road, then take the Western Highway Turnoff towards Ballarat.
- From Tullamarine Freeway, take the Western Ring Road turnoff, then the Ballarat Western Highway EXIT.
Once you are on the Western Highway, M8 you will be heading directly to Ballarat (about 50 mins drive)
Just prior to Ballarat there is a FREEWAY BYPASS which avoids going into the City of Ballarat - (TAKE THE ADELAIDE M8 direction and THEN LOOK FOR THE EXIT TO LEARMONTH & AVOCA - SUNRAYSIA HIGHWAY B220 – (Approximately 8 Kms.)
Continue along B220 through the townships of Learmonth, Waubra, Lexton, Avoca . Drive straight through Avoca towards Moonambel (10 mins out of Avoca, there is a LEFT TURN to Moonambel (at this time you are leaving the main highway which goes to St. Arnaud).
Once you are on the road to Moonambel, continue WITHOUT TURNING until after you have driven through the township of Moonambel – Warrenmang is clearly signposted 1 .5 kms after the town. Turn right up Mountain Creek Road and we are waiting to welcome you at the end of the road.
The trip from Ballarat to Moonambel is 1 hour.
