2008 Vinello by BAZZANI
Vinello brings together four beloved Northern Italian varieties, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Brunello. The 2008 Vinello exhibits the classic Pyrenees spice and dark berry flavours over a rich, earthy, savoury and truffle like complexity expected of these varieties. Jeni Port says Vinello is the most underrated wine in the Warrenmang portfolio. Can be chilled, ideal with Asian and Mediterranean dishes. Bronze Medal
2010 Warrenmang Sauvignon Blanc
Bright pale straw in colour with complex aromas and a hint of grassiness. The grapes were selectively picked in three batches between 11 Feb and 18 March 2010 and fermented separately to maximise the varietal characters produced at different stages of ripening. Natural fermentation was also employed to optimise varietal characters and mouth feel. The palate exhibits ripe pineapple and passionfruit flavours, mixed with zesty lime and citrus fruit. The wine has an underlying herbaceous note and finishes with a racy mineral backbone. Bronze Medal
2008 Warrenmang Estate Chardonnay - sorry SOLD OUT
Bright pale yellow with delicate, floral yellow peach and apricot fruit with complex oak characters. The 2008 Warrenmang Estate Chardonnay is bursting with classical Pyrenees peach, apricot and nectarine flavours, gracefully melding with soft, savour oak from eleven months of maturation in new and old French oak barrels. A sweet softness carries the delicate fruit right through into a complex back palate where there is a harmonious balance of fruit, subtle oak and a nutty creaminess acquired through 10 months of lees stirring in barrel.

Torchio Blue multi vintage Aged Pressings - sorry SOLD OUT
Dense purple with ruby hues, aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry fruits with a hint of eucalypt and spice and cedar oak barrel complexity. From exceptional vintages over the last decade Warrenmang has kept aside the robust and powerful basket pressings of Pyrenees Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. With their fortress-like tannin structures when young, these wines have mellowed with the years to become the basis of a palate that is rich and mouth filling. By carefully selecting and blending the best of the barrels this wine has been assembled to exhibit immense power and balance. The layers of fruit are entwined through this structure, their complexity derived not only from varietal and seasonal peculiarities, but also from the integration of their age. From the ripe blackberry and spice of the Shiraz, to the blackcurrant and earthy tobacco of the Cabernet Sauvignon and inky Dolcetto it has melded perfectly with cedar and chocolate from barrel ageing. Each bottle is hand signed by Luigi.
